List your clients on PicksByTown
If you handle marketing or local search for service businesses, you can put each client on its town's page yourself. It takes one form and a card, and it works for towns we do not cover yet.
How to add a client
- Open Get listed. Enter the client's business name, town, trade, phone and website. As you type, the page shows the listing as it will appear.
- Choose the plan and put yourself as the contact. Your name and email go in the contact fields, so the confirmation and the renewal reminder come to you and not to your client. On the form you confirm that you are authorized to act for the business.
- Pay by card on our checkout page. The listing goes live at the next daily site build, usually by the next morning.
What a listing includes

Neither plan changes where the business sits on the page. Position is set by public data and is the same for paying and non-paying businesses, as described on How we rank.
If the client is already on a page
Open the client's listing on its town page and use Own this? Claim it. The plans and prices are the same.
If we do not cover the client's town
At the bottom of the Town menu, choose "My town is not listed", then type the town and pick the state. After payment we check the town against OpenStreetMap and open its page with your client on it, and other local businesses are added from public data after that. If we cannot publish the listing, we refund the payment in full.
Several clients
Each client is added with its own form and has its own yearly plan, so one can be changed or cancelled without touching the others. Use the same contact email for all of them and every notice comes to one inbox.
Partner rate for five or more clients
An agency that lists five or more clients pays $39 a year for each Claimed listing and $119 a year for each Verified Pro listing, in place of $49 and $149. Email hello@picksbytown.com from your agency address with roughly how many clients you plan to add, and we send you a partner code.
Enter the code in the Partner code field on the form, for a new listing or when you claim one that is already on a page, and the checkout shows the partner price. The rate stays on each listing at renewal while your agency keeps five or more active. Position on the page is still set by public data alone.
The partner rate also applies to the two sponsored products on the For business owners page: a sponsored card is $79 per month in place of $99, and a sponsored guide is $200 in place of $250. Both are clearly labeled, and neither changes any rank.
Changes, cancelling and refunds
To correct a phone number, website or address, or to send the photos, description and hours for a Verified Pro listing, reply to the confirmation email. To cancel, email us from the contact address. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and the paid features stay on the listing until the end of the period already paid for. A payment is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days.
